When The Birmingham Hippodrome needed to replace their orchestra pit and seating lift drive and control systems they turned to entertainment industry specialists PTB. Designed by the team at PTB to the their clients specification and manufactured by Robolights, the system incorporates new drive inverters, system status and lift position indication, local control panels and pendants. The control system also incorporates a wide range of safety devices to ensure compliance and safe operation within the environment, along with full back-up and overide facilities in the event of failure or emergency.
