Robolights develops Mk2 Robocan

The Mk2 Robocan was a logical development from the first prototype and included a colour scroller adding colour changing to the moving lantern. Developed early in 1990 and put into use soon after, the Mk2 now used 3 channels of analogue control and had slower pan and tilt speeds than it's predecessor due to the extra weight of the colour scroller. The Mk2 used 24VDC geared motors with a worm drive gearbox and was more at home making silent moves in between cues rather than creating effect by moving with the lantern 'on'.
