Edinburgh Playhouse, UK - Band Room temporary power.

2010 saw a return to the Playhouse with Robolights manufacturing a number of specialist items to integrate with the buildings fire alarm system. These items included a large temporary sound power supply for the band rehearsal room fitted with a wide range of protected single and three phase power outlets. This unit is also integrated with the fire and evacuation system to enable disconnection of power in the event of an alarm. Other items included were several bespoke fireman's microphone call points for making emergency announcements.

The Edinburgh Playhouse has the largest audience capacity for a UK working theatre with over 3,000 seats. Originally designed by architect John Fairweather as a cinema, it opened its doors in 1929 and has had an impressive list of performers through its stage door ever since.
